Living With Chronic Pain & Illness

I understand what it means to live each day with chronic pain and look “fine” on the outside. Invisible illness is a challenge to live with and at times we can feel hopeless about the future and also get tired of feeling we have to advocate for our needs. As someone who has lived with chronic pain in excess of 25 years now, I can tell you that learning to advocate for yourself, finding joy in small moments and building a support network is key to thriving. Although acceptance of certain limitations can be difficult to reconcile, it is possible to create profound meaning in your life and build healthy, sustainable relationships and have a voice! Allow me the privilege to collaborate with you on this journey and offer my unique perspective of empathy and compassion while also concurrently moving through life’s challenges alongside you.
